Shopping, Gallery Hopping and More: The town of West Jefferson, only a few miles from Glendale Springs, is a lovely place to spend part of your day. There are unique shops and galleries lining the main road through town. You will be delighted with the murals painted by local artists, just another special touch that gives West Jefferson character and charm not easily forgotten. Creekhouse Garden Gallery is only a 5 minute drive from the Inn where you can experience local and hand made crafts from artists throughout the High Country. Pay a visit Ashe County Cheese Factory. Take the tour and witness the making of cheese, all produced with milk from local mountain dairies.
