There are unique shops and galleries lining the main road through town. You will be delighted with the murals painted by local artists, just another special touch that gives West Jefferson character and charm not easily forgotten. Pay a visit Ashe County Cheese Factory. Take the tour and witness the making of cheese, all produced with milk from local mountain dairies.
