Glendale Springs Inn is an authentic country inn built over one hundred years ago by Daniel W. Adams. Today the Blue Ridge Parkway runs only a quarter of a mile away. In addition to its Bed and Breakfast venue, the Inn features an excellent fine dining restaurant.

When President Clinton and Vice President Al Gore came to dedicate our beautiful New River as an American Heritage River, the Inn was selected for their schedule and lunch break.

Enjoy a meal at the restaurant,  or tour the scenic byways of Ashe County, then return to a comfortable guest room. As you relax in one of the old wicker porch swings with an ice cold lemonade you can imagine yourself a traveler from an earlier time finally arriving after a long, winding  journey up the old stage coach road from Wilkesboro...

Guests and visitors alike are always welcome to stroll through the  Inn's flower and herb gardens or to inspect the Inn itself - surely one of the area's most remarkable historic treasures. We think you'll find this special Blue Ridge Mountain location perfect for a personal get-a-way or a group retreat.

The original Inn features five guest rooms, a restaurant,  and two comfortable parlors where guests may play cards, watch large screen satelliteTV, or simply sit with friends. A wrap around porch provides a place for relaxation or dining.
